We are faced with the fact that Matson Navigation Company (MNC) has mandated a General Rate Increase per container by $175.00 westbound and eastbound effective January 24, 2016 for Guam/Micronesia. On the same date MNC will increase the company’s Terminal Handling Charge (THC) by 7% following the THC increase implemented by the Port Authority of Guam. As a result, it is necessary for Guam Freight Service to pass these increases on to our customers.

Guam Freight Service announces today that it will raise Guam/Micronesia Less Container Load (LCL) Ocean Freight by $0.11 per cubic foot as well as Guam/Micronesia THC $0.03 per cubic foot effective January 24, 2016

Full Container Load (FCL) rates will increase $175.00 per container for ocean and $56.00 per container for THC effective January 24, 2016
