Aloha HFS Customer,

Category 4 Hurricane Lane, while forecast to weaken, poses a danger to Hawaii Thursday through Saturday, with flooding rain, battering surf, coastal flooding and high winds possible.

A hurricane warning has been posted for Hawaii’s Big Island, Maui, and Oahu. A hurricane watch remains in effect for Kauai County.

Projected Port Closures per US Coast Guard

Hilo and Kawaihae are closed

Honolulu closed to all traffic 1100 today

Nawiliwili closed to all traffic 2300 today

Honolulu Freight Service Terminal

Thursday, 8/23 – Office and Warehouse closed at noon

Friday, 8/24 – Closed

Monday, 8/27 – TBD but planning to be open

*Not accepting Eastbound and/or Inter Island freight until Monday, 8/27

*Not accepting Guam freight and will not have a Guam container for Tuesday’s sailing
