Night Yard Driver
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Driver to join our team. As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers and containers within our yard. You will be required to operate a variety of equipment, including yard tractors, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
- Safely and efficiently move trailers and containers within the yard
- Operate yard tractors, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation
- Communicate with other yard personnel to ensure efficient movement of equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating yard tractors and forklifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and safety
- Sitting, standing, walking around the yard
- Outdoor work environment
- Work in various weather conditions
- Operate equipment such as forklift, company vehicle, electrical/manual pallet jack
- Ability to lift to 50lbs as needed
- Some push/pull/lift/carry as needed
