Each of us has an important\nimpact on how the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation plays out and affects people\nacross the nation. We are all together in this right now. This hits\nhome as some of the areas at the epicenter are where our terminals and loved\nones are located. With that in mind, it\u2019s incumbent on us to make\nsure that we are protecting both people and communities. In the United\nStates the severity of Covid-19 depends on the timely and effective\npreventative measures we take right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We take the health and\nsafety of our employees, our customers, and the community we serve as our\npriority. The Company is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (\u201cCOVID-19\u201d)\nsituation, and the potential impact it may have to the communities that we\nserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ve taken many actions to\nmitigate the risks to our employees, customers and vendors across all of our\nlocations including adding more frequent cleaning and ensuring that people who\nare ill stay home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At this time, in our effort\nto help mitigate the spread of the virus, we have instructed our employees to\nminimize all travel that requires being in large groups of people or traveling\nthrough airports. Travel that is deemed essential will continue as\nrequired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where possible, our\nemployees will utilize phone, Web-Ex and video conferencing to ensure\ncommunications remain consistent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We do not anticipate interruptions\nin sailing schedules or operations at this time and will remain vigilant to\nensure we continue to serve your needs uninterrupted. Honolulu Freight\u2019s\nOahu terminal as well as the four mainland terminals are well positioned to\ncontinue supporting our customers shipping needs. We are committed to\nkeeping our customers informed regarding any operational changes, if any, based\non any new information received regarding COVID-19 from the Center for Disease\nControl, as well as other local and federal government agencies. \nOur response to this illness will evolve as the situation progresses.
